Hike the Pacific Crest Trail
The Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) is one of the most diverse and beautiful hiking trails in the world. The PCT is a National Scenic Trail 2655 miles in length and goes from the Mexico to Canada borders through California, Oregon and Washington.
At HikeThru.com (a sister site to High Sierra Attitude) you will learn about PCT hiking strategy and hiking background information. We also offer our own PCT hiker's databook, the "Pocket PCT." Download a free chapter here (2.7 MB).
We are excited about our collaboration with Guthook's Hikes, LLC. Using the data contained in the Pocket PCT, Ryan Linn, aka "Guthook", launched a comprehensive 5-part hiking guide to the Pacific Crest Trail for in the iPhone in 2012. The series was completely updated for the 2013 season. We have now rolled out the entire series for Android. And we now have the AT Hiker series for the Appalachian Trail and various regional trails. Feedback from the PCT classes of 2012 and 2013 and the Appalachian Trail class of 2013 has been very positive.
Here at HikeThru, we want your PCT hiking experience to be the best it can be. This site is an attempt to gather most of the information you need to make that happen. Please contact at us at contact [at] hikethru.com if you have any ideas on how to make this site better.
